I have a set of diffs from under a Chevy truck. They have 4.56 gears in them. Im thinking of putting them under my 91 RC. Will they work? I know the spring perches will have to be changed. What else? The front diff is open and the rear has a limited slip...I think.

It's my understanding that there is only 1/2" difference in width on the springs.  You should be able to pull or push them enough to make them work on the Dodge springs.

Not sure what I'll do just yet. Trying to just get things together for Ram Jam.

Skip, Im pretty sure they are close to a bolt on deal. Conversion u-jionts can easily be used to match up. The front for sure is only 1/2 inc difference. The rear im not completely sure of. 4.56 gears would be a awesome improvment at hiddenfalls. THat would give you a pretty decent crawl ratio with 33-38 inch tires . You could put that RC in Low range and crawl all day.

Need to find some lift springs for it now.
