filled up the other day, crunched the numbers got 16.56 mpg. i think thats a new record for me. this was in my 93 RC 4x4 318 auto 31s. pretty well all stock. this is my daily driver and i've been daily driving a dodge truck of some sort for about 10 years, this is about the best its been

what are you getting?

that is pretty good. my 2wd 93 ramcharger averages between 14mpg and 18mpg depending on what i do with it.  my 81 on the other hand averages about 10-12mpg but then again it has got a monsterous 670cfm Holley street avenger on it. way to much carb for the little 318 but it will have to do until i can afford a something in the 400cfm area.

About 1.5 years ago we were taking my 92 down to Austin. On the way home I was explaining to my wife that RC's don't get good milage and its always the same... high way, in town, towing, whatever its always 14. When we got back to town and filled up I averaged just over 17 !!!!

Told her it must have been one hell of a tail wind.

there are so many things that can effect gas mileage. i run nothing but 91 octane gas in my truck for the fact that it contains no ethanol. don't know it if it helps or hurts the gas mileage but none of my trucks seem to complain.

My 01 1500 4x4 Ram I get arount 13.5, I've gotten upwards of 15 but that's it. 360 dogamatic trans. And I even did a lockout conversion on front axle. By spring I'll have exhaust converted to the y pipe with no cat out of jegs and hopefully electric fans.

My 87 RC got roughly the same, 13/14. 318 auto with 600 holley.(bit much but it was way better than the 500 edelbrock)

I had a 89 D150, 318 tbi, standard, 2wd that could get upwards of 22 per gallon. My 97 Ram 1500 2wd could get around 20/21 highway.

94 Jeep cherokee, 4x4, 4.0, auto could get upwards of 18/19 highway.

2000 Road King, 45/50 highway. Injected 88 with Baker 6 spd od. ;D
