Hey everyone. New to the site figured I'd share my dodges with y'all. Gotta 1985 ramcharger 4wd. 318/727/np208. 318 recently built, edelbrock intake and carb, mild cam, double roller timing chain. Also gotta 1989 ramcharger LE 4wd. 318TBI/727/np241. The 85 is a play toy and the 89 is for street use only.

Now for the pics

lift kit and bigger tires for the green truck, and a bigblock or a stroked small block when my income gets alittle better. as for the 89 nothin to serious, get some new tires for it, stereo system, dual exhaust, maybe some headers and eventually some fresh paint. the 89 ramcharger still isnt road ready, need a few more small things and insurance and a tag.

Thanks. The 89 LE is very close to being road ready got it moving under its own power again and at a perfect time because something broke in the rear end of the green 85 rc so now it's gonna be down for alittle while. Money is very limited right now so doing what I can with what little money I've got.

The TBI 318 in the 89 ramcharger. Fired it up for the first time in a long long time. Runs perfect.

Here's a little update on the trucks. The 89 LE is now on the road full time. Drives like a brand new truck. The 85 ramcharger is currently down. Broke something in the rear end so that's gonna get fixed and I'm throwing on a few upgrades to it. Hope to have it mobile again soon.

Did you figure out what broke?  What upgrades are you planning?

havent got a chance to look at it yet. im hoping its not to bad. gonna finnaly put the headers on ive had them for months, also got a new carbuuretor for it. im still fighting tranny leaks on the 89. it likes to leak around the dipstick tube were it goes into the case. tried new gaskets and several tubes. leaks everytime. the TBI is also giving me some problems, it  acts like it loading up with fuel, it dies at idle and is very hard to restart, acts like is flooded, have to hold it on the floor to start it and shoots out lots of black smoke. oh well time to get the tools out ive got some work to do.

I can look on my 92 magnum, but as I recall the tube is held in with some bolts on the back side of the engine, do you get it down and tight before you tighten the bolt? Could be a 2 person job?

My 2000 I had no issues with it, but I did not really work or look at it real hard.

As far as the TBI goes, is there any codes? You could have a bad injector leaking fuel or as I understand it there is a pressure regulator to step the pressure down so the TBI can handle it (verses the higher PSI needed for MPFI). If it is bad that could be sending too much fuel and flooding it?
