Early 2000's Truck Wanted
« on: December 21, 2015, 03:39:51 pm »
Looking for a reasonable upgrade for the family truck. Need a Crew Cab, over-built 1500, or 2500, gas or diesel, and preferably a 4x4 local to Texas. (Looking for Dodge, Chevy, or Toyota). Looking for 115k or less miles.

Feel free to let this thread turn into a freeforall of recommendations / bashing.

what you suggested is not much of an upgrade for ya.  :laughing4:

Fortunately, my little guy did well enough, but the tranny seems to be telling me its time to look at something else. Also, for the little ones, I need a Crew Cab.

Jumped on a Chevy 2001 1500 HD. Seems to basically be a 2500 with a Crew Cab. Any knowledge here on the somewhat odd ball 1500 HD's  and how they may compare to a standard 2500?
