well she is not the prettiest thing but i think you still got a smoking deal and solid base to start with. it even looks like it has all the options. if i could have picked that up for $600 i would have. my 2wd ramcharger cost me $1000 and it don't have cruise or electric windows or lock and it probably in worse shape even though it looks nice on the outside.

Shit brother, for 600 clams you can't beat that. I payed 500 for one that has no title for parts   That is a steal of a deal.

well more bad news. I was swapping radiators from the 91 ( it gets the brand new one from the 92 lol)

the water was horrible and looked a little oily(oil looks clean), so i figured I would  leave the hoses off the radiator and feed water from the water hose to flush it without getting the new radiator dirty.

while doing so I noticed exhaust coming from the lower hose.  :crybaby2:

looks like its at least 1 blown head. so looks like i have more work ahead of me. I will do a leakdown test soon to see how bad it is.

I did get the driver caliper replaced, went to do the pass and found a lug lock with no key :-(

guess i get to deal with that soon too

I put the radiator all back together and bleed the driver caliper. I drove it around some, its still shifting funny, no OD and no 3rd but it did ok. I still need to do a leak down test but its moveable right now.

I need to get a tool to remove the lock lug nuts so that I can work on the other caliper.

I don't have a lot of time to give to it now simply because I have to get the 91 going and will soon have the 2000 to wrap up as well.

But it will be fun when I get to it

Lock lugs,,, worst idea ever.

How many RC's you got man? 3, 4? Wish I had the room to do that. :crybaby2: Meh, I'm better off I don't have the room. I'd have a fleet of trucks and not enough cash to work on all of them. We've all seen hoarding shows............... :laughing7:

I have 3 right now, not that I have room for them all... I am still trying to figure out where to stash the 93. I am not sure I have the cash to work on them all either, but I am trying.

More than likely the 93 is going to get parked until I get the 2000 done and the 91 back to the body shop for paint.

well got to drive it a bit tonight, I picked up more ATF fluid this afternoon.

I drove it, checked... not even on the stick  :icon_scratch: I guess because I changed radiators, and the new one had an extra tranny cooler. I added 2 more quarters. Drove around again and checked. On the stick so looking better.

When I drove it the 2nd time I found that if I started in 2nd or drive it did not hit first, but put it in 1 and you were good. Then upshift and it would work its way there... and then I finally felt it hit 3rd  :laughing7:

No OD yet just because the power appears to be out to that, I still have a wire mess to deal with one of these days. But the fact I am hitting 1-3 gears is promising. I think another TV cable adjustment and some driving will help a lot.

I have a few things I need to do, then I am going to go for an inspection. One of the first things is figuring out how to get these locking lugs off that I don't have a key to  :angry4:

On my dads w250 his vehicle speed sensor was causing him not to have OD. Don't know if its your problem but I figured I'd share that info.

well I think its something else, the OD button does not seem to have power. When I plugged my red brick up it did not register the change in OD status.

Someone  :angry4: installed a POS alarm system and jacked the wires to hell and back. The inst cluster has no lights, when the head lights are on the buzzer is on cut wires every etc etc. I have a lot of cleaning up to do.

Oh yeah the power windows don't work either  :icon_scratch: :dontknow:

I got the power lock to work, I say lock as only the passenger door has a lock right now. Did I mention the ignition key does not fit any other locks? I have to keep it unlocked right now, not like I am worried about someone stealing it lol.

I hope to work on it some tonight, and to test 4wd since I have yet to do that. Its missing the handle. I have a spare, just need to find and install it.

I am torn between working on the 91 and the 93. I want the 91 to run again so it can go to paint, but I also want the 93 better so I can get it inspected and set as a backup truck. owning older vehicles I find backups are very very nice lol.
