So the word is now that they are painting the top and door jams tomorrow with the rest to follow on wed. 

I will be stopping by tomorrow after work to take some pics and see how its turning out.

The body work looks really good, no more dents and looks smooth and clean. With all the time that has gone into it I bet its going to look great

Well its hard to tell what the finished color will look like, it was really dark in the shop and the clear is not on it. But WE HAVE PAINT 

I will say that the paint looks darker than I expected right now, but it looks good. It seems to "change" color depending on the light and the angle you view it from. That was not expected and might be because it was still a little wet. We will see when I stop by tomorrow.

it looks a blueish purple on my screen, but it did not in real life. Also these pics are super grainy... I am going to take my slr with me tomorrow to try and fix that.

well I forgot the SLR, but yeah I plan to get some pics of it in the sun today I figure they will have it out there drying some.

I am excited to see it here, but know it will be a week or more before its back to my house and a few weeks after that before its back together.

I need to get the A/C mounted in the rear and some parts from francisco so I can have rear A/C ducts. Then I need to get the headliner re-done along with some new carpet and my sound/ heat deadener I bought installed.

I don't plan to re-do the seats just yet because I can't afford it at this time. But they still look to be in good shape so that should be ok.

Well they had to get more paint.

All said and done its 1.5 gal of paint and 2.5 gal of clear!!!!

Letting it dry till monday then wet sand and buff.

The paint is different than I thought, it seems to change color with the light... from light to dark. I really like it with the clear on it.

I should get glass back in wed or so, then home soon after that to start putting the rest back together.

not sure i ever mentioned it, but its ALL blue... mirrors, grille, door handles, etc.

well they found 2 spots where the paint was not applied good, and I found a few more spots as well 

They are getting some more paint and clear and going to go fix those spots. Taking a long time, but hopefully its all done right when its over.
