While we were out at Hidden Falls we (Noah, Eric, and myself) talked about options for this year and into the future for rides.

The decision we came up with was this:

We need a "wish List" of places we want to ride. With that list set we can try to do some long term planning that makes it easier for everyone to know when its coming up and it will be far enough in advance to be planned well.

This was mentioned as a good starting place. I think (if I can get mine back together soon) we want to try a short run on this maybe in June?

If its good, and everyone agrees we thought the way to try and plan a fall outing could be this:

call the park and ask what fall weekends have all 4 cabins free (their cabins are cheaper than hidden falls). From there we do a poll to see who all can make it and book it.

The point of this thread is we all need to list out places we want to go, some could even be far away... if we can know and plan we can make some if not all happen.

I know we talked about K-Rock, But looking at there site they seem to have some pretty difficult trails that are much different then Hidden Falls.
We may need to contact them to see if they offer trails for all types of vehicles. Also they have a 30 rig minium for weekends. So we would have
to attend on a weekend that already met its quota.

To throw another out there-
I would like to try Cline Ranch. I know some of yall have gone there but I haven;t tried it out yet. How it that place?

I would be down for trying this place. But we need to find some more details and pictures on this place. Looks to be a 4-5 hour drive for me.

workgoats

I'm way short handed at work, Ernest is trying to get our new boat hydraulics operational.  He has been working 7 days a week for several weeks.  We have a lot of work coming up but I know we both want to get out of town...

I still want to hit the sea shore.  I will apparently be going that way the last week in June with family and doubt if there will be any fun driving.  We have to be back in College Station by July 3.

Son and his family are coming back from Peru about that time too.  My have to help with his moving into a house.

I had a ball at Cline Ranch.  Maybe we can get James from Brutal to guide us.  When we went before, we camped out in his lot because they were not allowing camping at Cline Ranch at that time.  Danger Dave set one on fire on that run.
