So the AC has been out in the Ramcharger for about a year now.

Been meaning to get around to fixing it, but time and money... yeah that stuff.

So with the durango being tore apart and the cummins in the body shop, I suddenly had to find time and money for the AC.

I started working on it Saturday since I did not get to make it off roading. Got the compressor replaced and a new dryer. Vacuumed it all out and it looked good. Started charging it up and it was getting way high head pressure. Like 350PSI after 1 can!!! I could not figure it out.

I guessed there must be a restriction somewhere. So I ordered a new orifice tube line and a new condenser.

They came in tuesday, so before going to get the kids I quickly swapped stuff out and vacuumed it down again. Started charging and it did the same thing !!! while I was trying to think what the heck was going on and what to do, well since I had drove the truck home the engine was warm. The electric fans kicked on and I saw the pressure drop where it should.

:violent1: I forgot to connect the wire that turns the fans on when the compressor is engaged. Well shit, don't I feel stupid.

I need to finish topping it off, but its working now. I figured everyone would appreciate a good laugh.
