Title: my new pull rig
Post by: trailduster.dave on August 19, 2012, 08:40:43 PM
85 360 4barrel nv4500 4.10 2wd

i got this thursday night and have put about 450 miles on it. seems to be getting between 9-9.8 MPG. pretty good for a low riding TANK. or as richard calls it ... LANDSHARK! either way for its age its a beauty!

is that a long box? i think i may be jealous. i have wanted a long box crew cab but just find a crew cab is almost impossible around here.  my dad thinks i am crazzy to want a long box crew cab. i just barely fit in parking spots with my long box regular cab.

large enough coffee cup?

it is a long bed truck. really clean for age. i took it to town to get the kids today. my oldest Daughter Sara said "OMG dad not another one"    LOL
i have 2 of these animals now. the other one is in a sad shape.  it is what it is 400/727 AC all the brackets went to the 76 when i swapped it to the 400. but there are a few more things i will rob off it soon..

best i can tell this was a job done in 96 by a company in houston called awesome connections. it was a limo company that is no longer in business. i bought the truck in 04 in phoenix off ebay pretty much site unseen except for pics.  it is a 95 cummins/auto
