I was impressed from the small photo until I saw that cat...and then the chain holding the front in the air.

I'm interested, depends on if my rig is running or not.  My W250 needs some work with the clutch and my Ramcharger still needs some work to be running correctly.

Good to know, I have not used my wired remote since I have the wireless version, but if I ever need to use it, I'll keep that in mind.  Just so you know, my wired remote works with my buddies Warn winch, so that's not an issue either if you decide to go with a different remote.

So not too much further than my parent's house in Indiana.

Also, I plan to be at DSO on Sunday, around 10:00 A.M.

Silver Lake dunes, Twisted Trails, etc....there's quite a few nice places up there for wheeling.  Also, there's Greatlakes4x4 and another forum that caters to Michigan mainly and I'm sure there's some stupid shit on there.

That's a nice truck, I'd love to have it!   :violent1:

Anyways, I'll post up some threads if I come across any, but all of the ones I know are at least 2+ years old now and dead.

I know a guy down here in Houston selling his 80's RC.  It was on craigslist for awhile, but I think the ad expired.  It has black doors and a white paint scheme I think, reminds me of a cop car or something.  I could always ask him if he still has it and the details.  I'm pretty sure it's not sold, but I know he wants it gone so he can buy some 1 tons for his Suburban.

Welcome to the forum!   I live in Houston, but my RC is from Indiana....so it's rusted out nicely.

It's mainly a Texas thing I guess.

I don't have a 6,000 lb + RC, hopefully it's around 5K, but I've used my winch and was happy with it.

The first two images are videos, just click on them.

I was at DSO yesterday and always vote for it, but I will say that it's a mudding area mainly, so a lot of rigs would not do well there.  General Sams is mudding as well from what I've been told.  You could always try to use Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch   (BVORR) it's near college station and is privately owned, so you have to set up a date to use it, it's not open to the general public.

Also, you might look into the wireless winch controller.  I have it and love it!  It's nice to be able to use your winch without the wires.  It's like $20-30 with coupons normally.  The only downside is that it has about a second delay where once you release the button it will still move for about a second after.  It's not bad though and just keep that in mind when using it so you anticipate it.

Yep, I love my Winch, works fine for what I needed and fit nicely behind my 85's bumper.  I have a few of those multimeters from years past where they were the free item.  They work just fine and seemed to be about as accurate as a Fluke voltmeter at work, so I can't complain.  They are nice to toss in a vehicle just in case you need to check something.  I recently bought the 6 ton jack stands for working on my Ram and Silverado, the 3 tons just didn't have the height I needed for my Ram.

I already have an 18' steel deck trailer that the RC is currently sitting on.  So that's covered, but I also have an s10 that needs a new engine (sitting in my garage) and I'd like to bring both in one trip, so either use the RC to pull the trailer with the s10 or use a uhaul truck with the RC on the trailer and the s10 in the back of the truck.  I'm hoping I can get my RC's transmission fixed since the uhaul truck is like $1400.
