Looks like the new owners forgot to renew the domain, sad to see the site hard down.
i noticed the same thing. they will probably figure it out eventually. if not this place could become the new RCC
that was the reason I started this place, there were too many new "issues" with the new owners. This is like a fresh start I guess.
Now only if more people would register and post it would be perfect. 8)
People should have Ramcharger.net in their signature on RCC so that others will check it out. Also, a little hint in the form of an IM to your buddies will get the word out. If everyone made it a point to invite 5 new members the ranks would swell pretty quick. Also gotta post occasionally to keep something new to read.
Actually this situation is a good time to make a post in the open board on RCC. Just put it under the guise of this is where we can meet up if the forum goes down again. I don't think that sort of post would be frowned upon, at least I won't do anything about it. Also be aware that many of the guys are already over at one of Sam's other sites, bombedcummins.com.
Saw reference to this site at BC. Now I can use my whole screen for something useful - 'to share, learn, and brag' and of course argue twice as much. 8) A red letter day for sure.

Yeah, Sam said it's a DNS problem with the various ISPs. Some take a while to update. The site is apparently back up and running, but it may take some time for everyone's ISP's to update and recognize it.

I didn't either. I knew the company that bought RCC was one name or another under Vertical Scope but I couldn't remember the name "Autoguide" to save my life. Since the VS homepage listed RCC as one of the sites they own, I just took it to the top.
It came up for me for a couple clicks but then went back to the other page.
It's up for me now so it should only be a matter of time until everyone can get on RCC. If you haven't already, it might be a good idea to clear your RCC cookies and cache so that doesn't cause any problems.

Lol, I don't think I would be a moderator much longer if I stickied a post like that. Under the guise of the site going down and wanting everyone to regroup somewhere to exchange news on the site I think you guys can get sway with putting the word out. As a moderator of RCC, I sort of represent the site and I doubt the owners would enjoy me promoting a competing site on their forum. Now maybe one of the other mods might sticky it for you but I sort of doubt it for the same reasons I stated. With RCC going down for a few days I think you can sort of slip in under the radar with a post but until RCC is really abandoned i don't want to jeopardize my position there.
I agree, we don't want to cause issues between RCC and here. There is still lots of useful information there and lots of people we all like.
we can just keep growing this and the word will spread.

considering what time you posted it and the fact that is was Sunday i would guess it would last a bit longer than if you posted it throughout the week during business hours :13:.

Looks like a case of Deja Vu....
it seams like it works fine now. i occasionally have issues with my router so it is difficult to tell whether i an having router issues or a website is down.
At first I thought it was my computer and I rebooted several times with the same results. I didn't have any problems with any other sites though. Probably at most lasted an hour. I don't know if anyone ever looks at how many guests there are but I do. Usually 2 or 3 max. They started rising from 3 going gradually up to 13. It suddenly dropped to 10 and I checked RCC and it was up. Guests quickly went down to 2.
