Great off-roader (I want one!!) but with that flat bottom and high CG, it would seem that an explosion underneath could roll it over. Also I don't see where it could fit eight.
Also isn't the suspension rather exposed for a combat vehicle?
Here's another link to it http://www.defensenews.com/article/20140614/DEFREG/306140015/IMI-Unveils-Self-Defending-Armored-Troop-Transport

Looked at one the other day when a local Home Depot had their yearly contractors event where mfgrs show up and showcase their wares.

Mounting a smaller starter also helps. I forget offhand which one it is but the newer LA pattern blocks (V6 etc) used it. Think it was a NipponDenso?

IIRC the Ruger Deerstalker (44 Mag semi auto) can only fire jacketed bullets. (May be wrong on that though) Been quite a while since I fired mine. back when I shot CAS I used my Marlin 1894 44 carbine. Was a lot of fun.

Saw his obit in a paper last month. He basically did everything on the Billy Jack films. They were an independent production. According to the article there was a fourth film that was written but never filmed.

Mud will get in there no just about matter what. My engine compartment looked like that in my '99 1500 after a day of playing in the mud, with inner fenders.

I've heard of people using rubber sheeting. Cut it to shape and install.
Just an example of what I'm talking about http://www.rubbersheetroll.com/

Most likely mfgr CYA. They are probably afraid that the temp may get high enough to degrade any finish on the metal or overheat the metal itself?
