there are so many things that can effect gas mileage. i run nothing but 91 octane gas in my truck for the fact that it contains no ethanol. don't know it if it helps or hurts the gas mileage but none of my trucks seem to complain.

that suck but not too unexpected. this is why i like storing my photo's were i pretty much have full control of them.

my brother-in-law did a brake job on a car like that once. i don't understand how you can't tell the pad has worn through your rotor and is working its way through the cooling fins. it has got to be making some nasty metal on met noises.

that is pretty good. my 2wd 93 ramcharger averages between 14mpg and 18mpg depending on what i do with it.  my 81 on the other hand averages about 10-12mpg but then again it has got a monsterous 670cfm Holley street avenger on it. way to much carb for the little 318 but it will have to do until i can afford a something in the 400cfm area.

i think i  like that color. it will look awesome when it is done

at least your not just filling in the dent with bondo like most people would. i know my dad says he wants to get his ford to last another 5+ years but i find with the way he keeps doing body work it won't last that long.

that is looking pretty good. when you start doing the work yourself that $99 you spent on tools seems like nothing compared to what a body shop would charge you to do the same work.

ok. i thought it might have been you punching all those holes. i know that is how my dad would do it but i hate the idea. people have posted links to stud welders at parts stores in the US for about $50. i don't think i would get that lucky here.

who the heck keep putting all the holes in it ? you can get a stud welder cheap and then you don't have so many holes to cover with bondo.
