I have a couple I'm thinking of getting rid of. Don't have the time or inclination to finish them. Early 80's model Chevy, and a late 80's model Dodge. Both are 4x4, auto. Chevy is a small block, Dodge is a big block. The Chevy needs very little to wheel, the Dodge is all there just needs finishing. Pictures upon request. Price is not set yet open to trades, Boat, guns, cash, lawn tractor, ect???

I'm hoping to go to DSO (Down South Offroad) and get some wheeling in. I want to take the RC one day and then take the Zuke as well. Hope everyone has a great 4th. of July.

Well, I charged the battery, and drove it a bit.  It's all stock, but fun to drive.

Not sure yet. Have to go have a talk with the guy we are buying this place from. The taxes are figured into our payments and he may not have kept them up. Got a notice in his name that this place may go into forecloser on 7/2/13. Not sure what is happening. We've already paid him the better part of 70,000.00 on this place.

I have an interview this morning for a Civil Superintent (sp) job. I have mixed feelings but am going anyway. Never worked for this company. They are out of Louisiana. So, I took a day off from the job I have. This is definatly a step up, better pay (salary), company vehicle, benefits, perks, ect.Hope to know something one way or another by noon. Wish me luck.....

from David Gilpin. Some of you have met him and his brother Terry. Anyway, they were the reason I got into the 4x4 craze years ago. Found and helped me get my first RC. Anyway they are arranging a get together for July 4th at Shiloh Ridge. All the old group I wheeled with will be there. I am going to do my best to make it and go wheeling with them one more time. If anyone would like to join us, feel free to.

some 4" or so springs for my RC. I'm on a real tight budget. I had some but let someone who needed then worse have them. Let me know whats out there.

Even though I've recently gotten rid of two trucks, I have projects in various stages of completion. The Suzuki, it runs, drives, and can be wheeled like it is. Needs a rear locker or welded. The Chevy, its almost done. Needs some tweaking and a new starter (maybe). Change fluids and its ready to test. The RC is good to go. Needs a small lift and maybe tires.Car hauler needs to be redecked. Zuke trailer might be useable as it is. Need to load it up and see how it pulls and carries the Zuke. Camper in the back, needs to be scrapped. Oh yea, theres the Dodge in the back. Needs to be finished and wheeled.

I have a set of diffs from under a Chevy truck. They have 4.56 gears in them. Im thinking of putting them under my 91 RC. Will they work? I know the spring perches will have to be changed. What else? The front diff is open and the rear has a limited slip...I think.

Taking the Zuke or the RC out to DSO this weekend for some wheeling. Nothing too extreme, just fun. With all the rain we are getting today and tomorrow it should be off the hook.

The Suzuki is up and running. Drove it through the gears. Everything seems okay. Need to do some cleaning though. This past winter wasn't very kind. Also fired the RC up and drove it down I-10 some. Its ready to wheel. Now the Chevy is another subject. Still have a ways to go before its ready to test.

Who is going to step up and commit to going. Looks like I will be there. Not sure which of the vehicles I'll bring. Patti says she "may" be able to get off and grace us with her presence. We shall see.

Found a guy who has some old Dodge trucks to part for sale. He also has a 205 transfer case. Prices are cheap. Im going to go look and take pics this afternoon.

Looking for a Dana 60 rear and a 44 front for my RC. Or maybe a 14 bolt and 44 front. Either will work. Also looking for a speedo for a 91 RC. May just need the electronics behind the dash for the speedo. Have cash, parts, ex wife to trade
