Looks like most of you folks on this site are from the Great State of Texas. I'm partial to Texas. My mom used to live outside of Galveston on Crystal Beach and my brother lives up near the Sam Rayburn Reservoir in a little town called Zavalla.
I grew up in the Panhandle of Florida, spent 23yrs traveling all over the country and overseas in the US Coast Guard and have settled in Tampa, FL. At least for now. :great:
Born in Texas, Raised in Texas, Still in Texas lol.
Born in Amarillo and grew up there, moved to Dallas for college and not managed to leave yet.
Summers are hot, but all in all not a bad place to be. :13:
i'm from Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. was pretty much raise and spent most of my life here.
Grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and at the first chance to get out of that sleepy little town, I did. Went to San Antonio, TX and have loved it here. Now I can't imagine living anywhere else. Being the hub of Texas, it's a days drive to anywhere in God's country. LOL
I did a tour in the Army and spent some time at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri and in the high desert of Ft. Irwin, California near Barstow, CA. Spent a lot of time over the years visiting family up and down the west coast from San Diego, CA up to Grant's Pass, Oregon. Beautiful out there but super expensive. Just can't beat the low cost of living in most areas of Texas.
Big city of Call, Texas.... 30 minutes from Jasper, 45 minutes from Beaumont. 8 hours from great wheelin..lol
Got here as soon as we could 1961. Grew up in Harris County. Have left, but always come back. Grew up in Pasadena, Deer Par, and Galena Park. Live in Highlands with my wonderful wife and son. Cant see living anywhere else. Got the best friends anyone could want.
10 generations a TARHEEL from the Iredell/Rowan Co. area.
I just live & work in Pittsburgh now. :tongue3:
Born in Fort Worth, spent a few years out of country in Oklahoma, now in College Station, Texas.
Not an Aggie, but both of my children are. One here and one in Lima, Peru.
Montana, southeastern. Scared to go anywhere else, too many people.
Now don't be shy y'all .... :)

Well I was born in Scotland. Raised all over North Carolina, Maryland, Hawaii, California. Hometown is Winnie, Texas. Living in Houston right now.
I'm from Kokomo, Indiana, but recently moved to Houston after I finished college.
Born and raised in the Adirondack mountains of new York. Joined the Army in 74 and came to Texas. Other than a few short hitches in places like Korea and Germany been here just about ever since. Almost 40 years. Guess that will make us a Texan if nothing else lol...
I think the saying goes, "I wasn't born a Texan but I got here as fast as I could."
I am an Air Force brat so I have lived in most provinces growing up. I decided to settle in Ontario and I live just outside "The Sunshine City" of Orillia. (Of course it's raining today)
Been a New Yorker all my life. Live in Lake Carmel, Putnam County. About an hour outside N.Y.C., 15 mins. from Danbury, Ct.
