we can either do it one at a time or SAM has the ability to MASS email everyone one the board / but l dont know if he can do it without raising attention

Our best guess is they forgot to renew the domain, but you would think they would have noticed by now. It expired on the 23rd.
I started this a month or so ago, out of growing concerns. I wish we had more data from rcc on here now, but I am sure it will be back up sooner or later.
Same thing must have happened on Dodge-Chat. The moderator on there went into the State Police ranks and soon the place shut down. Crazy....

I don't know how it was done on RCC, but we need to start figuring out moderators and getting our ducks in a row.

i don't think that is 100% true. they got the website back up a couple of days ago but they lost about 6 months worth of data and it is still real slow.

I can't imagine why they have not renewed it yet, surely they know.
Bad thing is I don' know any of the new owners contact info to try and make sure they know.
Sam said on BombedCummins that they have renewed the addy but he's not sure what the hold up is on getting RCC back online.

I agree, I had started moving stuff over here but had not got it all done yet. Not to mention the how to section and all the other post to search on.
i think you can still get the how to. you just may not get all the pictures with them. google still has the cache files.
that could work , if anyone want to recover their build thread just search on google and copy/paste it over here. it can take some time tho.
if you can remember the title of there there it can be even easier to find. just put the title in the search box and put " site:ramchargercentral.com " after the title and it should bring up your thread. then you just have to find the cache button
I found my thread on Google but when I click on it I get the URL you requested cannot be found on this server or some bs like that.
this might help. you have to find the arrow to the right of the link. then a thing should pop up with the word cached. click on cached and it should bring you to what is left of your thread.

sam says the place should be back up and running, exactly when i dont know. hes got the majority of the website saved up to the point that it swapped ownership. so the information that had been collected in the site isnt completely lost at least
its back up now, seems like about noon time today.
Hopefully we can keep people interested in this site as well.

Most of us are still on RCC and it will probably stay that way until things get unbearable for one reason or another. A few seem to have left or at least are spending equal amounts of time on either RCC and Bombed Cummins, RCC and here or all three. I'm just floating around all three but since there is more activity on RCC, that is where I spend the most time.
I don't spend much time online in the summer, so I miss things.
RCC is still pretty good, but I have noticed a bit of a different feel.
There's a lot of good people there....and if the site does go downhill, it's great there's a place for everybody to go.
So far, looks like a pretty good start here. :thumbsup: Will check out B-Cummins too.....
