Grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and realized pretty quick that I didn't want to live there forever.  My Dad took us on vacations all over the west coast and everywhere in between California and south Texas.  First opportunity to get out of CC was a restaurant manager job that took me to San Antonio, TX.  I really fell in love with SA.  Married an Air Force brat and soon joined the military ranks myself.  Always infatuated with the Army so I joined up.  Combat Engineer and stationed in Ft. Irwin, CA in the Mojave desert.  Hot was an understatement there at 120* in the shade.  The base is in a mountain range and beautiful so duty there was a breeze.  I love California and it was a great opportunity to visit a lot of family on the west coast.  Couldn't see doing 20 years of Army life so I opted to go to school back "home" in San Antonio.  Was leaning towards a law enforcement career but my part time retail job turned into a career.  Just had so much fun that I've been at it for 20+ years.  I did a short stint in AutoZone's warehouse but the daily grind was boring and when the warehouse moved to the Dallas area I jumped ship.

So back in high school my first love was the 69 Dodge Charger.  Part Dukes of Hazzard series and part Dirty Mary Crazy Larry movie and heck even the Bullit movie too.  I couldn't find one in small Corpus Christi, TX but some early 70's Chargers came up frequently.  Finally picked up a 71 Dodge Charger with a 318.  Deleted the AC components and stripped the weight and added dual exhaust with the tin can Thrush mufflers from JC Whitney back in the early 80's.  It was a screamer and a great beach bomber.  Held a lot of people.  Through high school, I drove a 73 Dodge Dart 318, 73 AMC Javelin 360 and a 72 Chevy Camaro 350 in addition to the 71 Charger.  When I moved to San Antonio, I took the Camaro but found out quickly that I needed something reliable and with AC.  I picked up my first "newer" car.  It was a 83 Dodge Shelby Charger.  It was my first stick vehicle and it was real cool for it's time.  An engine fire killed it but by then I already had play toy, 71 Plymouth GTX 383.  I bought it from a guy that raced it until the 440 died and so he put in a 383.  It was in beautiful shape and I took it to shows back then.  I drove that monster out to CA all the way back in 89 no problems.  After the Army, I picked up a 73 Chrysler New Yorker with a 440.  I drove it for a year until I did an engine swap with the GTX.  Later, I got the truckin' bug and picked up a slant six 78 Dodge Custom gov't model.  It was so cool but after an ugly divorce, I needed a reliable AC vehicle and on a small budget picked up a 2WD Ford Ranger.  I was really into making a Pre-Runner to run the miles of trails at Big Bend National Park.  Fabtech provided a front end and shocks.  The rear suspension was ProComp with Hellwig overload springs to support a Leer cap.  I loved that truck but a growing family and a new wife caused me to trade up to an Ford Explorer 5spd 4.0 V6.  Gas crunch killed my off road plans for this nice SUV and I traded it for something that got some mpg's.  The bug hit and I wanted a truck again.  Just looking for a daily driver out of the 91 Dodge D150 3.9 but couldn't stop.  My first Ram Jam got me stoked for a 4X and I picked up the 76 Ram Charger SE minus motor and trans.  Really miss that 383 and so that's the plan.  With everyone's help I hope to make that become a reality.

My name is Joe. My dad was in the Marines for 21 years so I never really stayed in one place until he retired and returned to his childhood home in Winnie, Texas.  After graduating high school I joined the United States Marine Corps as a Aviation Intermediate mechanic(rebuilt hydraulic and pneumatic parts). I left the Marines in 2007 and worked for a Gas Company as a mechanic, and several other little jobs here and there. In 2010, I was hired by Oceaneering in Houston and I have been with them. I am currently offshore in China right now and I am looking to return on November 15.

My first Ramcharger was a 1988 2wd with a 318. I loved the beast, but when she broke down I couldn't fix her. I have just two days ago bought one that looked just like her and I can't wait to get to the states to drive it around. It is a 1984 AW100 360/727 4wd.

I'm Billy. 52 years old. I've been married for 32 years. Have 3 daughters, one Grandson, and 2Granddaughters. Been into cars, trucks, and bikes forever. I started with Mustangs and a Chevy pick up. From there it was a string of Harley Sportsters and Triumphs. Rode with the Yonkers Motorcycle Club (oldest club in the country) for years. I gave up riding 7 years ago after a bad wreck screwed back back up. I bought my first Dodge pick up back in 2007. W250 that I had a few years. I currently have a 1999 Dakota Sport. Nice truck but I need a full size truck.

Man, I forgot I had a account here. Anywho....

I'm 42, live in Saint Johns, MI. Grew up here, bounced around a bit during my first marriage and ended up back here after the separation. Small town but it's home.

23 years mi army national guard, 20 years full time federal technician. Was a mechanic there on army equipment. (almost like active duty. Had to be in the guard and maintain mil standards during the work week.) Got medically retired out of the guard last year due to back and shoulder problems and with that, the retirement as a fed tech came with the territory. Served in Iraq in 2005. Was supposed to turn wrenches but ended up doing more convoy escort than anything else. Retired at the rank of E6 staff sergeant.

Been married to wife #2 for 9 years. Great lady. She's let's me do dumb things in the garage. Have 2 kids from previous marriage and 1 granddaughter. 2 dogs. (great danes)

Been a dodge guy my whole life. Have a Harley Davidson road king. (model year 2000, ex police bike I bought in 2002 with 4k miles on it, now has 85k miles on it) For fun I play with things that go bang and throw lead at high velocity, ride my motorsickle and recently brought home my dune buggy to start throwing money at and bought a 79 RC.

Previous rigs include:
1977 B200 tradesman.(maxivan version.)
1983 reliant 2 door with 4 sp.
1989 D150
1986 RC
1986 Dodge conversion van
1986 Lancer (with 2.2 turbo 5 sp)
(2) 1987 RC's
1997 Ram 1500 (2wd)
1994 Jeep Cherokee
1982 Mercury Cougar(hey, it was for the ex)
1977 Cordoba
1977 Class C dodge motorhome (had a 440. How could I not buy it?)
1979 Class A motorhome on dodge chassis. (again, 440.... and it still is clean on the inside)
1997 Chrysler town&country (name is grimace, it's that purple color. current wifes ride)
2001 Ram 1500 4x4.(my current dd)
1977 RC(just sold it)
1979 RC, 360/727.(my current RC toy)
