I just noticed some cool pics that Noah posted on FB.  Is that your truck?  :great:

Don't know, I can;t get on facebook here at work on my work computer. He would have to post them here or email them for me to see it. But Im pretty sure he only has one big tan Ramcharger there, So i would assume it  is.

No, the vehicle was rusted to hell and had a questionable drive train. One of those " It ran fine when I parked it 10 years ago"

When we ( By we I mean noah) did the body swap. he also swapped the drivetrain out of my W200. 318/np435/np208. Which was a sumwhat running drive train  :dontknow: Well it drove on to the trailer and off when i hauled it to noahs.

Who;s knows what will happen.

If we can;t get it done by then I will ride with noah or lance again. Lance needs proper motivation while driving.  :040:

Went to a gun show in Glen Rose a couple of weekends ago.  They had your lever action 44 there but I didn't price it or notice who had it for sale.

They also had a Henry 30-30.  They wanted $700 for it.

If you run across anyone selling a .44 mag lever action at a resonable price let me know.
Henry's are kinda pricey these days. But they make a kickass .22 lever action. Very good quality rifle.

Here are the following weekends that I should be available

March 14-16 and 21-23
April   11-13 and 18-20
May   9-11 and 16-18

I would prefer the first weekend that i listed for each month but I don;t have a problem with the second one either.

As for those that can't make it, it is impossible to find a date that all can come.  The only thing is to set a date and live with it.  And I always found that the closer to the date, the more reasons will be found that it should have been another weekend.

Determine a date and I'll try to be there.

Very good point Ron. Can't please everyone.
We will set a date and who ever can make will make it. No point in hearing all the same excuses that everyone post.

Ron you are very wise! When Eric's new RC is ready we WILL be making at least a day trip or maybe camp 1 night. This will probably be a late March or early/mid April thing! Y'all will know when the time has come as Eric may not be able to contain himself knowing that he may actually get to drive a Dodge @ Hidden falls!

This is very true, though I must warn everyone. We will need to have medical staff present on this next run... and no not for Danger Dave.... But rather for Lance! With amount of hours he has sanding this RC down to perfection I fear as soon as i run it across a tree, rock or smash a  fender he will literally faint, stroke out, or burst in to uncontrollable tears and fall to the fetal postion........... Noah is already mentally prepared for this and will be able to coup with any damage all while yelling " GO FASTER!!! NNNOOOO!!!! YOUR NOT GOING FAST ENOUGH!!
We must prepare for the worst.. Then again it has to make to the trail first.............

Noah,  Umm Hows progress  :017:

I'd love to get a lever .44 mag. There's talk in Michigan of changing the rules of hunting with straight wall cartridge rifles in shotgun area for deer hunting. Which makes sense. I can hunt with my .44 mag revolver (which has a 10.5" barrel) but yet you can't use ANYTHING that is rifle form but yet fires the same cartridge. (single shot, lever, bolt action) But yet you can use a inline muzzleloader that has as much if not more range than a straight wall cartridge.

I understand not allowing regular rifles. It has to do with the dense population as compared to up north. M57 is the dividing line in the state.(it's about mid state, east/west two lane state highway) South of 57 is shotgun, handgun and muzzleloader only. North of 57 you can use rifle, shotgun, handgun, muzzleloader....

Hopefully this year I'll have to find me something that fires a straight wall cartridge for deer hunting. That would be awesome. Maybe a Ruger M77 bolt action in .44 mag. :headbang:

I do alot of hog hunting and my pistol of choice is a 1974 Virginan Dragoon .44 Mag 12.5" Barrell.  Ive also been looking for a Lever Action .44 Mag Rifle. Though I would perfer a Winchester. They are very expensive especially the older one. I keep finding remakes from Tokyo, japan and Brazil. They are considerabley cheaper. range in the 300-400 range. But Im unsure of the quality and the outside appearance seems cheap lookin.

Yours has a 6" lift you said but does Noah's Power Wagon have a lift?

Just curious because depending on who you ask, some people say that I will need custom driveshafts with a 4 " lift.  The kit I bought came with a 2* shim and a 2" angled block.  Looks to be 2* also.

Yup im running 6 inchs of lift plus i plant to change it a bit for alot more flex.

Noah's PW has between 2-4 inchs of lift. Closer to 2-3inchs they were used springs so we have no clue what they were orgianly rated.
You don;t need a custom driveshaft for 4inchs lift unless you have some super flexy suspension. You can easily grind the tabs on the CV and lengthing the driveshaft. Lenthging a drive shaft isn;t very expensive. But You don;t always have too. It all depends how much your suspension moves. I ran 4 inch lift on my M880 with  stock driveshaftes. Didn't have a problem until the straps came loose and the drive shaft acted like a pogo stick under neigth the truck.

Ordered some more parts.
Zero Rate Blocks with 3* Taper. This will allow me to move the front axle forward and the rear axle back. Once I get back We will make some more progress. Noah Is working on it when he can. Wireing is a big project so he defently has his hands full. Lance Is working on the top getting rid of the rust and prepping it for paint. Lots more to do. Still need to measure for driveshafts which noah has spent alot of time doing. This will be are first rig to order custom driveshafts and yokes for. So we want to get it right.

If noah has anymore updates or pictures I will post them .

Double bummer for me too.  Easter weekend is seasonal changeover from Easter to Graduation at work. May is inventory.  I really need to get out of the retail business.  An Easter egg hunt at HF would be fun.  Probably packed with Jeepers though.

Dont worry Richard once Noah, Lance, and I are all running we will be making more frequent trips up there. I know I will for sure even if its day trips.

I figure it should be fairly warm by then, but not to hot and plenty of time out to plan and get off.

Not sure where yet we just need a date.

The next one Needs to be in Late Sept or Oct  :13:

I will be available April 11-13 and April 18-20. Since I work a Two week on and off schedule I only get two weekends a month to choose from.
