Crazy weather here too.  About 5" new snow Sunday, 10 below yesterday morning,  and now this AM it is 35 above and raining.  I don't even want to go outside - probably fall on my ass.

Honestly, I had never heard of off-road parks until RCC about 10 years ago.  And, I've never gone anywhere to 4X4 - but, often needed 4X4 to get where I'm going. Someday, I'll make it to one of these new fangled off-road parks/areas.

MT - conveniently located between heaven and hell.

Now - back to "Gathering 2014???"

Shoot, I see people using them around town here during the summer. Not sure how legal that is but police don't seem to bother them. They have the orange triangle's hanging off the back of the cart and down the road they go.. Mine isn't slow and has lights, no triangle for this kid. ;) Worst they would probably do is tell me to take it home.

I know he was pretty shocked I still had it to begin with and then only want to trade for the engine.....

Careful - I've heard of DUIs when driving them in public areas.

My name is Joe. My dad was in the Marines for 21 years so I never really stayed in one place until he retired and returned to his childhood home in Winnie, Texas.  After graduating high school I joined the United States Marine Corps as a Aviation Intermediate mechanic(rebuilt hydraulic and pneumatic parts). I left the Marines in 2007 and worked for a Gas Company as a mechanic, and several other little jobs here and there. In 2010, I was hired by Oceaneering in Houston and I have been with them. I am currently offshore in China right now and I am looking to return on November 15.

My first Ramcharger was a 1988 2wd with a 318. I loved the beast, but when she broke down I couldn't fix her. I have just two days ago bought one that looked just like her and I can't wait to get to the states to drive it around. It is a 1984 AW100 360/727 4wd.
Kinds looks familiar.

I've been over at RCC for about 10 years.  Bought my RC new - it seems to be ageing more rapidly recently, but that goes for me too.  Lived in MT about all my life and probably why I don't like crowds.  Had a couple Mustangs in past and Mopar line-up ( with miles I drove) includes:
'70 Duster 340 -- 40K miles
'74 Gold Duster -318, 4sp, Suregrip - 105k mi.
'85 D150 - 90k mi
Current
'84 RC - 95Kmi
'99 300m - 45k mi
Not Mopar, but newest is '09 Equator RMZ4 (kinda re-placed RC)

My RC has now been sitting in a garage - have planned on full service and minor repairs for over a year and still have not even cleaned a mud-wasp nest off the carb from summer of '12.  Maybe this winter!!

Thanks REB, that's some good info there.  How does the water accumulate anyway?
Humidity in the air - as you compress air, its' ability to hold water/humidity is reduced.

Just gotta love a big pile of new parts in boxes waiting to be installed.   :happy1:
Agree, nothing else like it.

Great looking RC, War Wagon.  You keep washing it and you'll have rust again. ;)

I've checked out the Casita also  -  and if I ever buy anything, my current choice is 17' Freedom model.

Some day, I would like to attend and meet some of you gents.  But, round trip, figured it would be 2800 miles, 3 full days driving, and about $1000. in fuel for the RC.  Could cut fuel in half with different vehicle, but then.........

Is that something like Brokeback mountain kind of thing?
:nono:  A real cowboy knows where the closest sheep herd is kept - usually closer than town.

l was thinking more like the frontends of all the different grill styles thru the years of RC,s / like starting on the left a 74 then a 77 and a 79 dual quad and the a 83 to a 87 to a 93 / that will pretty much cover all the different looking years of grills
Good idea - informational and educational too
