Now that's a mega cool cart. What brand is it? I take it that's a 4 stroke not a 2 like mine. Gives me some ideas for mine.
and some redneck Florida camo.

I feel blessed to still be able to sit up... UNDER my RC. I did the dual stabilizer install myself!

I have the sudden desire (but NOT the money!) to toss the 318 in my RC, and drop THIS in instead.
THAT would be a noteworthy build!
Sooo, I added a gallon or so from my garage to what was in there and it fired right up. I drove it to the station and put about $20 in it and drove it to work the next day. When I got in it to come home the battery acted like it didn't want to turn the engine over but it fired. On the way home my radio started doing the funky stuff (not music) as well as my turn signals didn't work, etc. I got home, took the alternator off and carried it down to Advance. They put it on their tester and it wasn't putting out anything. So I bought a remain 78amp and took it home. Paid $43 with my military discount. Installed that puppy, charged the battery and it's been working great ever since.

I want to wager you still have charcoal in the emulsion tubes and airbleeds.
if you found coal sucked up thru the line to carb why would you hook that can back up? even with a filter to catch some?
if you did not remove any core plugs from passages in the main body and run a pipe cleaner or wire thru them, the coal will stay, carb clean and a soak will not eat it away or melt it to come out...it can only be removed manualy..from my experiance anyways.
i will wager carb problem at this point, all the spark in the world will not make it run with out gas getting into cyls.
I'm hoping one day to put a suspension lift on it from a company called BadSwede.
