Vehicle Help / Re: My trucks acting all funny.
October 29, 2014, 03:56:11 PM
Well I'm pretty sure it's the pump. What all can I replace while the tank is dropped to avoid doing it again? Also what is the larger canister located above the fuel pump on the outside of the tank?

Vehicle Help / My trucks acting all funny.
October 03, 2014, 09:24:41 AM
So I've been getting really poor gas mileage, my gauge is busted and whenever fuel gets low, the truck starts to shake violently. It used to be when there was about 10 gallons left, now it's acting up after only using 16, which is not quite half a tank. I think the fuel pump is going out, I've never replaced one so does anyone have any ideas or advice for an aftermarket model, replacement advice and the general procedure I need to follow? Or maybe any ideas if it's not a fuel pump? It's a 1993 Ramcharger 5.9 Magnum with a 34 gallon tank.

General Discussion / College Station Area
September 23, 2014, 07:22:59 PM
So as goofy as this sounds, I got back from a deployment about six months ago, and I'm now in the reserves going to school at Texas A&M. I was curious if there was anyone in the College Station area that would be interested in meeting up and chit chatting or working on our rigs. I'm awful bored and all the kids here feel a bit too young for me. Guess I'm just kinda looking for some like minded individuals or someone to mentor me on my truck.

It's in Texas right? I wonder how hard it would be to get a bonded title for it?

Vehicle Help / Removing a 3-inch body lift.
January 14, 2014, 08:55:32 AM
So I bought my Ramcharger a few years back and it had a 3 inch body lift on it. Does anyone have any experience removing these and replacing them with a new set of bushings? What all would I have to change on the truck in order to have this done?

General Discussion / Vehicle Builds Gallery
November 04, 2013, 12:44:26 PM
I've been thinking about grabbing a bunch of old threads from RCC and around the web that feature different builds on Ramchargers and Rams and making a build gallery for future builds as a sort of reference. Would anyone be interested in making this happen?

I actually haven't met any other guys from College Station yet, knew they were out there though. I'm in the Army, Infantry. It's an all right job haha. By the way, WarWagon, I saw how you got your rig painted up, I might use it as sort of an "inspiration" when I get back and have mine repainted. chau, you oughtta get that thing moved down south before there is nothing left haha.

Thanks guys, when I get back, I'll be in the College Station area, planning on finishing school up (on the Army's dime) at Texas A&M.

General Discussion / Just Came Over From RCC
November 03, 2013, 02:28:31 AM
I just came over from RCC and wanted to say hello. I'm in Afghanistan right now and got moved to a base where I can get a hold of some internet so I figured I'd take a peek at RCC, it had been a little while since I had checked it out. I feel like a part of me died a little bit when I saw that it is kind of dying. It was my go to place when I first got my truck and started driving back in 2009. But I'm excited to have found this other site and I'm looking forward to watching it grow.
