airlift. I got them on Amazon, I bought the 5000 plus series or whatever that was... they have internal bumpers to avoid damaging them if they somehow end up empty

Good Deal, Im  Going to do some research on them

I have the Firestone Ride right air bag kit on the 06 Quad cab. That's the only way I can tow.  Without air in them the trailer squat's the truck & makes the trailer fishtail.  i add 25-30#'s in the bags & it rides like stock.

That makes me want to put Airbags on my 2011 Ram now so I can tow with HEMI Power!

It doesn't matter how much Airbags I put in the rear of the 2011 ram, The rear coil spring suspension is just not made to handle any significant weight. But yeah it would be cheaper...... Until I blew out the rear springs or links.

I think I should just stick with building the cummins  ;D

rjtx667

you just want a cummins... and I can't blame you

I got my brakes done, they seem nice. they had a break in procedure which was interesting.

now I have to get 100 miles on it before pulling a load

So now that you have Potential Cummins to be the New tow rig, will the RC become a full on Hot Rod ? :steeringwheel:

rjtx667

Not sure about that, but it might loose the air bags and be more fun and street.

Not sure I should race it a whole lot, besides the torque converter and tranny were not really setup for that. I guess I could always throw a new torque converter in it and change the cam... but what a PITA that is for not much gain.

If I wanted a hot rod I would just keep the dakota I am about to sell.  :headbang:

I don't need to be going that fast lol

I am pretty sure 408 stroker small block Mopars allow RC's to not only out run any problems, but it also allows for stealth cloaking of any Dodge vehicle it is installed in.... :steeringwheel:
