If you created a user account and never posted anything, there is a good chance I deleted it. We keep getting "spam" signups that never post anything, so I just keep deleting them.

Sorry if I got a real account in the process.

i think what you if you delete any account with 0 post after 30 days would be fair. i think i been part of some forums were if you didn't post at all within 10 days they would delete your account. its not like it would kill someone to stop in and say hi, hows it going, yada, yada, yada...

SixGun

Did you just say, "Yada, yada, yada..."?   :laughing4:

man I think I just deleted over 140 fake accounts, this needs to stop. :angry4:

maybe there should be some type of security question along with one of those type the words in the box thing. could use something like how many cylinders in a 318 or 2+2= ?

SixGun

Have you asked Sam what he did to stop this?  What is that deal on some sites that you have to spell out the morphed letters in order to make an account or the security question.

its to keep spam bots out. if you didn't have them then the site would be overridden with fake account made by spammer software.

I added the little verification box a few weeks ago  :icon_scratch:

did not seem to deter much. Now I am starting to blacklist IPs. But yeah I am going to ask Sam as well.

i think simple math questions could do the job and also keep it simple for you. its not like a computer would understand "what is 2+2?

2+2,,,,, wasn't that also a model of mustang? ;)
